Bobbie was a member of 1 st Baptist Church in Pearl River, LA., she loved to meet new people, and just enjoy life. On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, Bobbie Rose Frierson, age 81 of Pearl River, LA passed on peacefully to be with our Lord. Psalm 23: 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Home, Pearl River, on Saturday, January 20th from 10 am until the start of the funeral service at 12 pm. ![]() She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer Sones and Odell Ladner her daughter, Reba Baker and her brothers, Lanny Paul Sones, Lonnie Sones, and Henry Sones. ![]() She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles Tillman their children, Phoebe Whitney, Matthew Tillman, and Naomi Burch-Bison 10 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren brother Larry Sones, sisters Diane Wells and Vondell Wallace. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by the many who adored her. She was a member of Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church. She was described as outgoing, loving, and personable to everyone who met her. Peggy had a passion for baking, sewing, and serving others. She was born on Decemin Poplarville, Mississippi and was a resident of Pearl River, LA. Peggy Tillman passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the age of 77 on January 15th, 2024. Interment to follow at Crawford Cemetery, Hickory, La. 23 at Williams Funeral Home, Pearl River, La., from 10 AM until 12 PM with service at 12 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. In times of sorrow, let us remember Mike for his love, dedication, and the joy he found in family and life. Mike's unwavering support for the Saints and LSU Tigers showcased his love for sports. A passionate hunter, skilled fisherman, and avid golfer, he found joy in life's simple pleasures. Eventually Mike joined Campbell Cabinets as a Northshore Salesman, where he formed lasting friendships. Following his honorable discharge, he worked on industrial construction projects in West Texas and along the Mississippi River, later starting his own painting company. Mike served in the Navy as a submariner on the USS George Washington Carver from 1970 to 1976. Born into a large and loving family, he leaves behind cherished memories with his mother Margaret, brother Gregg, uncle Richard, daughter Monica and her three children, Jana, Jessica, and John, his wife Nancy, and stepchildren and grandchildren: Johnny, Kingston, Julie, Maya, and Anna. John Michael ("Mike") Harper, a devoted family man and faithful servant of God, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday March 3, 2024, at 2 pm at American Legion Post 374 at 2233 Carey St. She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Helen McDonald. ![]() She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Donald Bellow, her children Ian Larson and Melony Hollbrook, her brother Ian McDonald, and 7 grandchildren. She was a wonderful woman to be around and everyone that met her loved her. Lorraine was a bartender for many years including at the American Legion in Slidell, where she last tended. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Margaret's name to the charity of your choosing.On Monday January 22, 2024, Lorraine Bellow, age 64 of Slidell, LA passed on peacefully. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren. She is survived by : her children, Lance Shaw of Wilton, NH, Suzan Blanchette (Robert) of Wilton, NH, Cheri Brodeur of Greenfield, NH and Pam Shaw of Manchester, NH. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edmond Fairfield and Velma Fairfield (Nickerson) her husband Raymond Shaw her siblings, Otis Fairfield, Winston Fairfield, Amos Fairfield, Alvin Fairfield, Charles, Geraldine Bergeron, Madeline Bischoff, Christine Sonn, Helen Lorette and Velma Swain and her grandson Jeremy Maki.
